How to Search and Save Songs to Your Vault

#Search#Vault#Cosmos#Save#Library

Finding music and adding it to your collection only takes a few clicks. You can filter the songs you’ve already saved, or search online databases for new ones.

1. Searching your Vault

The search bar at the top of your dashboard filters your saved collection as you type.

  • Instant filtering: Start typing an artist name, song title, or keyword and your local cards filter immediately.
  • Resetting your view: Click Home in the top navigation bar to clear your search and go back to your full collection.

2. Searching the Cosmos

If a track isn’t in your collection, use Cosmos Search to look through online music databases.

1. Type the song title or artist name into the main search box.
2. Press Enter on your keyboard or click the Search Icon button.
3. Your view splits into Vault results and Cosmos results.
4. Matches from public databases show up in the Cosmos column.

When the same track turns up in different databases, the duplicates are merged, which keeps the results easy to scan.

3. Adding a song to your Vault

Once you find the song you want, open it by clicking its song card, then click Add to Vault at the bottom of the left control panel.

QUICK TIP: Adding a track automatically fetches any available online lyrics and timing files, so the song is ready to play right away.

4. Where saved songs go

Every saved track is saved in your browser, on your own device.

  • Home dashboard: Saved songs show up on your main home dashboard.
  • Instant loading: Tracks in your Vault load right away, with no new search needed.

Choose the right result

Compare the artist, release, artwork, and duration before saving. Similar titles can refer to remixes, live recordings, or different edits, and the audio version you later select should match the saved track’s timing. Online search results are combined when iTunes and Deezer return the same normalized title and artist; results already in your Vault are filtered from the online list.

Adding a result saves its catalog metadata to the local library and starts the available automatic lyric/timing lookup. Availability varies by song. If the lookup does not find a useful match, open the Sync Workspace to search again or create timing manually. A saved track remains in this browser until you remove it or clear its stored data.
